I am actually not that big on jewellery. I love either simple pieces that are no fuss or oppositely wearing a large statement piece and calling it a day. For me though, there are classic jewellery options in my collection that are my constant go-to pieces. If all else fails, I know that one of these will always work with my outfit. Here are my top classic jewellery items that I can’t live without.
THE JEWELLERY ESSENTIALS
I am obsessed with hoops and no matter what the size or metal, they are a classic piece that look good on everyone. I personally like them big, but a small understated pair of hoops is also fantastic. (Tip: Wear them with block colors for a standout earring).
Ok so everyone loves classic pearls, I actually don’t. But I do LOVE pearls in general. Lately there are so many fun options available that combine this classic jewellery staple with an updated twist. (Tip: Mix and match your pearls to create an updated modern style)
Literally can never go wrong with these. They are the best investment and until you go big for the real rocks, fake it till you make it (they look just as good). (Tip: Look for vintage studs as they are stunning but also unique).
One fantastic bracelet that makes a statement but is not overdone … that’s the statement bangle. I love them in every color and they are always a stand out piece when I see one on another woman. (Tip: Wear a minimal outfit with a bold bracelet for a chic Summer look).
I love simple almost dainty stacked rings. They are no fuss and a fun accent. (Tip: Layer lots of these rings for a youthful look).
STATEMENT GOLD EARRINGS:
Ahhh … I love a gold statement earring. Not much to explain here except that they are an essential in your jewellery box. (Tip: Wear your hair off your face and let your statement gold shine).
Another essential is the dainty necklace. It is such a simple feminine touch of jewellery and usually these pieces will stay with you for a very long time. (Tip: Wear a dainty necklace with low cut neckline).
BARELY THERE DROP EARRINGS:
Sometimes less is more and in this case it really is. I recently bought a pair of super delicate (barley there) drop earrings for a little touch of glam. They are completely understated but look so sophisticated. (Tip: Wear them with a feminine floral or pastel colored style).
