It is no secret that I love a classic Moroccan berber rug in pretty much any interior space. While I still feel strongly that traditional berber rugs are still well in fashion, my eyes have been wondering a bit to other types of eclectic inspired rug designs. There are a few that I love (these include Navajo and Persian designed rugs), but one of my very favorites at the moment are these colorful boucherouite rugs. They have such a summery feel about them and the colors are a happy alternative to the basic neutrals of the classic berber. I absolutely love this look and wanted to share a few inspiration images for a rug that is high on my wish list.

Here a couple places to check out if you are searching for this style. I picked out a few I love below. (Also for all my London friends … my go to place to find authentic Moroccan rugs is Fez on Golborne Road!)
